Activated Carbon Cloth (ACC) was originally developed by the British Ministry of Defence for use in chemical warfare suits. Since the early 1970’s Charcoal Cloth International (CCI) a subsidiary of Chemviron Carbon has been developing and manufacturing ACC under the ZORFLEX® brand name for a wide range of demanding markets. Availability

ZORFLEX® Cloths are available in a wide range of densities in both knitted and woven forms. The cloth can be supplied in various widths, cut shapes and laminated to a range of other textiles.

All the ZORFLEX® Cloth ranges are excellent at adsorbing a wide range of organic chemicals, in addition to this they can all be modified to adsorb inorganic compounds through a chemisorption mechanism.

ZORFLEX® Cloths can also be modified to meet customers needs and end uses.
