ZORFLEX® Defence cloth is used where protection to a wide range of chemical, biological or nuclear agents are required.
When used as a “Gas Cloth” it is widely accepted that activated carbon is the leading technology.
ZORFLEX® Defence Cloth offers the most effective protection on the market today with low physiological protection at low carbon weights. The benefit is a highly breathable garment with low weight.
ZORFLEX® Defence Cloth can also used in CBRN protective filters offering protection at faster airflow speeds.
When used as CBRN decontamination wipes they offer scratch free and liquid free cleaning ideal for glass and sensitive equipment. The wipes also prevent spreading or off gassing of harmful agents making them easier to dispose off.
As two further examples of how CCI is working in the defence market , CCI is also able to offer products in the medical counter measures and missile decoy market using its extensive knowledge on medical wound dressings and the thermal heat signatures properties of its carbon cloth.

ZORFLEX® Defence can also be impregnated with a range of chemicals to enhance the chemisorption capacity for selected gases.
ZORFLEX® Defence cloth is manufactured in a continual process offering consistent performance and better quality products unlike the more common batch process.
