Pharmacopoeia Carbons
Activated carbon is used as an emergency decontaminant in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract (which includes the stomach and intestines). It is used after a person swallows or absorbs almost any toxic drug or chemical.
BPC 1993 – is a powdered activated carbon that conforms to the Pharmocopoeia standards that certify the product is fit for consumption in the treatment of ingested toxins.
Pharmacopoeia carbons can also be used for similar gastrointestinal applications for Veterinary treatment of animals.
Removal of Colour and/or Colour Forming Compounds

A number of pharmaceutical products can become contaminated in production by proteins or other organic compounds.
